From time to time, NTI needs to hire customer service representatives on short notice. We can't predict the specific skills we'll need. The requirements change depending on the openings. We can't predict the number of people we'll need either. Sometimes it's only 5; sometimes it's 30.
NTI keeps a list of people qualified for and interested in these openings. All customer service openings have the same general requirements.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Self-sufficient and dependable
- Excellent verbal and written skills, including grammar and voice quality
- Ability to listen, read, write, retain, and use information
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner
- Effectively carry out several tasks at the same time while conducting a courteous telephone conversation: Search for or enter data on a personal computer, follow a script, and use proper procedures
- Personal computer, telephone line, and high-speed Internet access
- Technical skills
- Experienced and proficient computer user
- Able to maintain own computer equipment and both Internet and telephone connectivity
- Knowledge and use of the Internet
- If required for the position, pass a low-risk background investigation consisting of:
- Employment verification
- Education verification
- Social Security
- Criminal background check
- Tax compliance
- Credit check
- Complete training successfully
