How to Apply for "Work at Home" Jobs at NTI
NTI places Americans with disabilities in real jobs they can do from home. They work as call center agents for organizations like the IRS or as medical transcriptionists.
If you're disabled and want to work at home, check our list of current openings. If you don't find one this time, fill out an application so we can contact you about jobs we post in the future.
Follow the steps in this section to apply for jobs
- Read this entire page, including the Warning and the notes at the bottom
- Print this page to use as a reference. (Trust us. Having a printout makes applying easier.)
- Disable your Pop-up blockers. If you attempt to submit your application and it doesn't work and you have to re-enter your data - It is because you didn't disable pop-up blockers.
You can click here to test to see if you are using a popup blocker . If you find that your system is blocking popups, be sure to disable the software while completeing our online application. - Click on "Current Openings" here or in the menu on the left. You'll go to a page listing titles of open jobs.
- Click on each Job Title that sounds interesting to go to its detailed job description.
- Read each job description and its requirements.
- If you meet all the requirements, click the "Apply for this Position" button within the job description
- If you don't meet all the requirements, make a list of the ones you have to work on.
- If you aren't already working with a VR Counselor in your state, click on "State VR Agencies" here or in the menu on the left of this page to find out how to locate one to help you.
- Expect a call back from NTI within 10 working days.
Warning! Don't apply for more than one job
- Applying for more than one job will greatly slow down NTI's review of your application.
- If you apply for more than one job, NTI may drop you from consideration for ALL the jobs you applied for. Following written instructions is a critical skill everyone working from home must demonstrate, even during the application process.
Notes about these jobs
- Most of the jobs we post are "telecommuting" jobs, meaning you can work anywhere in the country. Some jobs may be onsite or require that you reside in a specific geographical area. Each job description provides these details if they apply.
- The number of positions and the compensation levels for each job vary. Wages are typically $8-15 per hour.
- Our recruiting staff will determine if you're qualified for the job you've applied for when they interview you. NTI will consider you for all the positions it has available, and will present the correct job opportunity to you.
