Job Description
Outbound Telesales Agent - 25 positions
NTI Job Code: OT-07-01
This is a home-based, part-time, year-round permanent position in which the employee makes business to business sales calls.
Each agent is required to contact various business, as well as indiviuduals inside these businesses regarding the sale of various services and products. This includes but is not limited to registration with organizations, product sales as well as placing individuals in various jobs provided by the employer.
The Agent Must
- Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor at all times, while maintainig the highes quality of customer service
- Log all sales, contacts and placements in both personal and company database through various online and physical mediums
- Generate qualified leads and maintain all accounts established
- Perform all tasks in a timely, organized manner
- Report on time for and be redily available during all scheduled shifts and log any breaks needed in an appropriate manner
Personal Requirements
- 6+ months of appropriate and proven sales experience
- A friendly outgoing attitude
- Confidence in one's self and one's ability to be convincing in a competetive sales atmosphere
- Enthusiastic outlok on all aspects of Telecmarketing and Telesales work
- The ability to be persuasive and rebut effectively on the spot
- High school diploma or GED
- Relevant telemarketing training and/or schooling preferred
- Ability to utilize a computer and maintain a database while speaking with all clients and/or customers on the phone
- Multitasking and basic computer skills
- Ability to detach personal feelings from all calls and handle verbal rejection without being offended
- Willingness to make extra effort if needed to successfully complete a sale or placement
