1. What kind of non-profit organization is NTI?

NTI is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit disability organization that has helped Americans with disabilities find work-at-home positions since 1995. The "About NTI" section of our website contains more detailed information about us.

2. How do I know that NTI is a legitimate non-profit?

NTI does not charge any fees to people with disabilities. We receive funding from state vocational rehabilitation agencies and payments under Social Security's Ticket to Work program. Foundations that have supported our work include The AT&T, Fidelity, Mott and Robert Wood Johnson Foundations. We've received 15 years of support from the Rehabilitation Services Administration and support from the Department of Labor.

The NTI Press Room page on our site provides links to articles on the Web that describe how NTI places people with disabilities in work-at-home jobs.

3. Do I need to pay NTI anything for job placement services, training, or equipment?

No. NTI does not charge people with disabilities for any services or equipment, please note however, most of the employers require certain home office items such as a computer, a headset, a phone line, and a high-speed Internet connection. If you are offered a job you must acquire these items on your own, either by paying for them yourself or with the aid of your state Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Services.

4. Is the NTI website secure for submitting personal data in my application?

Yes, our website is secure.
