There are three kinds of training: NTI General Certification training, NTI job specific training, and production training.
NTI job specific training is designed to provide candidates with an overview and general understanding of the specific position they have applied for.
NTI Certification Training gives you an overview of the professional and technical skills required to be successful when working as a home-based call center agent. This free class is held for three consecutive days and consists of four hours of instructor led training along with after class assignments. The training is designed to increase your chances of being successful as a home-based call center agent. All of the employers NTI works with require applicants to complete and pass NTI Certification Training.
Production training is specific to the job you are matched with. It can take anywhere from 1 day to 6 weeks, depending upon the complexity of the position. Once you are hired for a position, you will be paid for the hours you spend in production training.
All training is delivered virtually at home. At a pre-scheduled time you will access a virtual classroom and use a multi-media headset plugged into your computer to interact with the instructor and your classmates. The virtual classroom software allows you to see the class material on your computer as the trainer explains every aspect of the job you are preparing for and demonstrates each step of the standard work procedures. You will be able to ask questions and demonstrate your proficiency in taking practice calls.
If NTI tells you that you are eligible for NTI's Certification Training, and you are ready to commit, you will be scheduled for a class during that phone conversation.
You may receive a call in which the agent will go through the steps with you. You will receive an email confirmation once you've been registered for class. You will also will receive an email from your class instructor with complete instructions on how to access the class, the evening prior to your class start date.with complete instructions on how to access the class.
NTI Certification Training provides you with an overview of the requirements and the skills necessary to successfully compete for a home-based call center position. You must still pass the interview and meet all other requirements outlined in the job description. The employer must still approve you as someone who meets all of the requirements for their specific job.
Certification training always begins on a Monday or Tuesday. Typically, NTI provides classes at various times throughout those days in order to accommodate the schedules of all of our candidates. Availability may vary from one week to the next.
NTI Certification Training is a free service provided to candidates to improve their chances of becoming employed by our call center clients. Once you have been hired, employer based training required to learn your new position is paid.
Generally, NTI Certification Training covers the technical, professional skills and individual traits required to be successful as a home-based call center agent. Any additional training will be related to the specific position you are pursuing

You must have a way to hear and communicate with your instructor and other students in the class as a high level of participation is required. You can do this by using a computer microphone or a USB multi-media headset.

Write down both the name of the person who assists you at GTT support and your confirmation number. Send an email to your instructor and/or firstname.lastname@example.org to inform them that you cannot log in. Include the name of the person you spoke to at GTT and your confirmation number. Include your full name - no nicknames, please and the time and date of your training in your email. Our training department will contact you with further instructions.
If you are working as an NTI employee (i.e. for Meijer, IRS, etc.): You should contact email@example.com. A member of our payroll department will contact you shortly afterwards.
If NTI placed you in your job but you are not an NTI employee: Contact your employer. They will give you the most accurate answer.
If you are not an NTI employee or if NTI has not placed you with another employer, email your updated information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We prefer that you attend your scheduled training, so please be sure to double check your schedule before you sign up. However, if missing your training is unavoidable, contact email@example.com with the date and time of your original class along with an explanation of why. Training will contact you to reschedule your class.
Generally speaking, you should attend to your emergency. Nevertheless, be sure to communicate with your trainer via chat as to the need to leave (instead of abruptly leaving with no notice), and follow up with an email. Depending on how much class you miss, you may be allowed to continue or you may have to complete training at a later date..
You should contact firstname.lastname@example.org with the date and time of your original class ahead of time if possible and the reason you missed the session. Training will assist you with rescheduling the class. If you are unable to contact training in advance, please send an email at your earliest convenience to avoid a no call/no show/no email status.
In some cases, yes you may. There are three kinds of training: NTI General Certification training, NTI job specific training, and production training with the co-employer (NTI's partner organization/client). NTI Certification Training is a generic training that is intended to prepare you to work as a professional home-based call center agent. NTI job specific training is designed to provide candidates with an overview and general understanding of the specific position they have applied for. Production training is provided by the co-employer and will provide you with the detailed information you will need to perform the day to day aspects of your position. Production training occurs after being accepted for the position and is paid based on the rate identified in the job description.
Yes, you may take NTI Certification Training a total of three times. You are required to wait 30-days between the first and second class in order to provide you the opportunity to increase your skills prior to taking the next class. The waiting time between the second and third class increases to 60-days to provide additional time to prepare for the last attempt. Students are not eligible to retake the class a fourth time.
You must complete and pass the class assessments. In addition, you must arrive on time, participate actively in class, complete all assignments and score at least 85% on your final assessment. You will need to present yourself professionally at all times and be courteous to your classmates and instructor. NTI Certification is designed to provide you with the information you need to be successful. In addition, we will be assessing your current skills and abilities to ensure you are prepared for the challenging positions we offer. Therefore, you should approach this training as if it were a part of your interview process.
You will be contacted via email after you pass. Bear in mind, your test must be graded along with those of your classmates, so allow some time to be contacted by the NTI Training Department.
You will be placed in a pool of candidates eligible to be considered for positions with our call center clients. Pre-screened and certified candidates are valuable. You will be contacted.
In addition to evaluating how well you understand the topics covered during training, the NTI Training Department evaluates your level of preparedness and professionalism. It shares these evaluations with our recruiting department, and possibly potential employers. As a rule of thumb, you should behave during training as you would on the job. Participate actively, and put your best foot forward!
