You're reading an experiment-in-progress. The Internet has greatly increased the number of people who can work successfully from home. However, the phenomenon of "Telework" is new enough that many people find themselves taking a home-based job with little idea of what day-to-day work will be like.

How can I get pointers from my boss? Can I make any friends at my new company? What are the best times to schedule work? How do I get technical help?

People working from home face unfamiliar problems. Luckily, they're not new problems. Many people have run into and solved them before. This part of the site will grow to provide categorized links to news you can use and tricks of the trade for succeeding in your new job.
